MULTIPLE VEHICLES ON FIRE

3/28/06- At around 01:32hrs Trumbull Center was dispatched to the area of 25 Lindeman Drive for an unknown fire. Trumbull Car 2 arrived and reported 14 vans fully involved and requested an engine from Long Hill. E-202 and LH-4 (Delvento) responded and arrived to find the same. E-202’s crews stretched a line off E-102 and worked on 4 of the vans while TC units handled the rest. The fire was ruled arson and is under investigation.

BRUSH FIRE NEXT TO THE HOUSE

3/27/06- At 11:25hrs Trumbull Center and Long Hill were dispatched to Porters Hill Rd for a brush fire with exposure to the house. E-209, E-101 & Trumbull Car 2 arrived and found a 30X30 fire near the house. Crews extinguished the fire, there was no extension.

WORKING HOUSE FIRE ON MADISON AVE

3/21/06- At around 19:00hrs Long Hill was sent to Madison Ave near the mall for smoke in the attic. E-209 arrived first and reported smoke showing from the attic. Trumbull Center and Nichols were dispatched for mutual aid and the RIT. Long Hill crews found fire in the attic and in 2 rooms below. Multiple lines were stretched and an aggressive attack was made on the fire. The fire was knocked down and units opened up and checked foe extension.

SMALL FIRE ON CANOE BROOK ROAD

3/15/06- During the early afternoon, Long Hill and Trumbull Center were dispatched to a Canoe Brook Rd residence for a reported fire out. E-202 arrived first and reported nothing showing. Upon further investigation heavy smoke was found in the basement and fire was found in the walls. Crews on scene opened up the basement area to extinguish the fire and checked for extension.

DECK FIRE

3/19/06- At 16:33hrs Long Hill, Trumbull Center was M/A & Nichols as RIT were dispatched to Fox Rd for a reported house fire. Long Hill units arrived first and found a small fire under the deck with minor extension in the residence. The fire extinguished and units checked for extension.
