MEMORIAL DAY
PARADE
5/29/06-
Today all three fire companies in Trumbull participated in the Memorial
Day parade. As always all Companies were well represented by their
members and a good time was had by all.

MERRITT PARKWAY EXTRICATION
5/8/06- At
approximately 15:20 hours, Long Hill with mutual aid from Trumbull
Center were dispatched to Route. 15 northbound by exit 49s for a report
of a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. TC-2 arrived and reported a
single vehicle into a tree with an occupant trapped inside. Long Hill
and Trumbull Center units worked quickly and extricated the victim and
turned care over to Trumbull EMS. Units awaited on scene for car removal
at which time they returned to service.

TOWER PULLS OVER FOR ACCIDENT
5/5/06- Upon returning from a reported gas grill fire, Ladder Tower 204 witnessed a 2 car motor vehicle accident. The Tower checked for injuries and fluid leaks, and remained on scene until EMS arrived. E-206, also returning from the fire, assisted with traffic.

E-206 RUNS MUTUAL AID FIRE
5/4/06- At 13:30 hours, Long Hill was dispatched mutual aid to Stepney Fire Dept. in Monroe for a working structure fire. E-206 arrived and found a fire in a 3 family house. Engine 6's crew assisted in overhaul and checking for extension. The Engine cleared and was back in district in 45 min. (Photos Courtesy of Maureen Rose)
