ROLLOVER ON THE MERRITT PARKWAY

11/5/2008- At 12:30 hrs, Long Hill was alerted to a MVA rollover on Route 15 Northbound at Exit 48. LH-3, Engine 205 and Squad 209 arrived to find a car on its roof & fluids in the roadway. S-209's crew mitigated the spilled fluids & stabilized the vehicle. E-205 & S-209 remained on scene until the vehicle was removed. AMR transported 1 patient. LH-3 had command. (Photo courtesy of A. LONG HILL'S RESCUE ASSISTS WITH ROUTE 8 ACCIDENT

11/4/2008- At 15:56 hrs, Nichols, Trumbull Center & Long Hill were dispatched to Route 8 Southbound in the area of Exit 10 for the reported Motor Vehicle Accident with extrication.  Nichols Car 2 was first on scene reported 2 vehicles, both with a single occupant needing extrication.  Rescue 200 arrived & assisted with extricating the victim in the breakdown lane while other units assisted with the vehicle in the high speed lane.  Nichols Car 2 had command.  (Photo provided by F.
