LONG HILL WINS BIG AT NEW JERSEY PARADE

 

11/28/2009- The Long Hill Volunteer Fire Co.1 Inc. participated in the 2009 Wallington Fire Department's Holiday Parade in Wallington, NJ. The parade is the largest in the nation, with over 300 lighted/decorated fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles. The members brought Satellite 203 with all its lights and decorations and swept the competition. Long Hill brought home 4 trophies including Best Decorated Pumper, Best Decorated Truck Company, Best Decorated Apparatus (out of state), and a 2nd place trophy in Farthest Distance Traveled (out of state). Congratulations to the members of the Fire Company for all their hard work and dedication. Great job all!
