ONE EXTRICATED IN MAIN STREET ACCIDENT


06/30/2011- At 02:42hrs, Long Hill & Trumbull Center were dispatched to Main Street and Cedar Hill Road for an extrication. LH1 arrived first & reported a vehicle on its roof with one person trapped. Rescue 200 arrived and extricated the occupant quickly and into the hands of Trumbull EMS.

CREWS MAKE QUICK STOP AT EDISON ROAD FIRE


06/18/2011- At 19:50hrs, Long Hill, Trumbull Center & Nichols as RIT were dispatched to Edison Road for a structure fire. LH-2 arrived and reported a 2 story cape with heavy fire showing from the rear. Ladder 204 arrived and went to work searching and assisted Squad 209 with stretching a line to the 2nd floor. Crews found a rear room fully involved with extension into the hallway. The fire was quickly knocked down and companies spent an hour opening up and checking for extension. There were no injuries. ENGINE & TOWER ASSIST AT MONROE FIRE


06/16/2011- At19:50hrs, Long Hill was requested to respond with an Engine and ladder to a working commercial fire at 450 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe. Engine 206, Ladder 204 and LH-2 responded and found a fire on the 2nd floor of a 2 story strip mall. L-204 laddered the roof and assisted with venting the roof and knocking down the fire while Engine 206 forced entry into adjacent stores checking for extension. Units cleared almost 3 hours later.

 


 

BEACH HILL ROAD HOUSE FIRE

 

06/11/2011- At 16:40hrs, Long Hill, Trumbull Center & Nichols as RIT were dispatched to Beach Hill Road for a structure fire. LH-1 arrived and found a working fire in the kitchen. Engine 206 arrived and stretched a line along with Ladder 204 and quickly knocked down the fire. Other units on scene assisted with opening up the walls and ventilation.
